Your household’s information stays with your household.
Information the private application uses
When a parent connects Google, the application uses a Google account identifier and verified email to distinguish accounts; authorization tokens to maintain the connection; calendar identifiers, names, time zones and access roles to show available sources; and selected event details needed for display, including titles, dates, times, recurrence identifiers and cancellation state. It does not store event descriptions, attendee lists or conference links.
Parents choose which calendars to display and assign them to household profiles. The application also stores household-created chores, person assignments, math difficulty, completed chore tallies and a hashed parent PIN verifier.
Use of Google data
Google account and Calendar data are used only to provide the household calendar and maintain its authorized connection. The application does not write to Google calendars. Google data are not sold, used for advertising, or provided to AI models for training. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Storage and household display
The service stores its database on household-managed equipment. OAuth client credentials and account tokens are encrypted at rest. The parent PIN is salted and hashed, and its stored verifier is encrypted. Calendar events and chore records reside in the private local database. Calendar information and assigned chores may be visible to people who can view the household display.
The service contacts Google’s official authorization, identity and Calendar endpoints to perform authorized operations. The public information website has no connection to that database and receives no calendar, chore or authorization-token data.
Retention and control
Authorized calendars are kept as a local mirror so the display can retain the last successful read when Google is unavailable. Calendar updates and cancellations are applied during synchronization. Chore tally history is retained by the household, including history for archived chores. No fixed automatic deletion period is currently configured.
Parents can revoke the application’s access in their Google Account permissions. Revocation stops future authorized Google reads; it does not automatically erase an existing local mirror or household backups. For deletion of saved data, account changes, or assistance, contact the household administrator at the support email shown on the Google consent screen.
Public information website
These static pages do not offer Google sign-in or collect form submissions. The hosting provider may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses and technical logs, to deliver and secure the website. The household calendar’s credentials and private data are not hosted on this site.
Changes
This notice will be updated if the application’s data practices change. New Google permissions require a separate account consent.
